• Q. What do I need to prepare if I want to process number porting online?

  

  A：iTalkBB Prime APP is a smartphone application that comes with a Canadian phone number. This number allows users to make and receive calls, check voicemail, and send/receive text messages over mobile networks (Wi-Fi or data). Additionally, you can add a mainland China number or a Hong Kong number for free within the same app to receive SMS and verification codes from mainland China or Hong Kong.

• Q. What happens if the number porting fails?

  

  A. If the number porting is unsuccessful by the specified date due to incorrect documentation submitted, you will receive an email notification from iTalkBB. Please follow the instructions provided in the email to reapply. Your phone number will remain with your current carrier and will not be lost. However, since you are still using the services of your original carrier, you may be charged the monthly fee. Therefore, we recommend allowing sufficient time to complete the porting process and ensuring all information provided is accurate.

• Q. How soon will the service take effect after application? Do I need to inform my current telecom provider myself?

  

  A. For number porting applications, most telecom providers require approximately 3 to 7 business days to process the request. Once the porting is successful, you will receive an email notification confirming that your number has been successfully transferred to iTalkBB. You do not need to inform your current telecom provider yourself. After you complete the registration, iTalkBB will handle the remaining procedures and complete the porting on the scheduled date.

• Q. This plan does not require a physical SIM card. How can I make calls and receive text messages?

  

  A. You need to download the iTalkBB Prime APP from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once logged in successfully, you can use the APP to make/receive calls and receive text messages.
