How do I activate or deactivate the voicemail feature?

After 2 hours of activation, you can use your voicemail. You may also call our 24/7 customer service line 1-800-248-255for assistance.
 
Is the voicemail feature free?
Yes. It's completely free.
 
How to set up my voicemail pin and receive voicemail message through email?
Click here to log in to your account (Don't know how to log in?Click here for instructions). Go to "Add-Ons" and click on "Voicemail" to set up your pin and the email address to receive your voicemail messages.
You may also call our 24/7 customer service line 1-800-248-255 for assistance.
Note: for newly signed up users, it may take 24 hours for the voicemail to function properly.
 
Can I setup Voicemail and Call Forwarding features the same time?
No, these 2 features can't be used together.
If you have setup your voicemail, your unanswered calls will go to your voicemail, and messages will be sent to your email account.
If you choose "I do not wish to activate voicemail, please activate Call Forwarding for me (Forward calls to another number)." The voicemail feature will be deactivated. And then you can turn on the call forwarding feature.
Pick up the phone, after hearing the dial tone, press "*"+92.
Then press the number your wish to forwarding your calls to.
After hearing the "beep", the setup is completed successfully.
 
How to record my personal greetings?
Click here to log in to your account (Don't know how to log in?Click here for instructions). Go to "Add-Ons" and then "Voicemail". Then click on "activate greeting setting". After hearing the "beep", you can record your personal greetings.
You may also call 214-379-1195 to record your greetings.
 
How do I access my Voicemail by phone?
It's very simple. Call 214-379-1195 to access your voicemail.
If you are calling from your iTalkBB phone, you will be asked to enter your password which you set up during activation of this feature.
If you are calling from another phone, you will be asked to enter your iTalkBB 899 number (what is 899 number?) and password.
Here are the key commands.

[5]Listen to old messages
After listening to your message, you may choose the following options:

How long will the voicemail messages be saved? How to delete them?
Your message will be saved on your phone for 24 hours, it will also be sent to your email account as an attachment. Within the 24 hours, you may delete it at anytime by dialing 214-379-1195 from your iTalkBB phone or from any other phone.

Is the Caller ID feature the same as in traditional phone service?
Yes. When a call comes in, you will see the phone number of the caller and the name if the number is registered.
 
Does Caller ID show the name of the caller?
Yes, iTalkBB Home Phone shows the name registered for the phone number at service providers.
 
Is the Caller ID feature included in all service plans?
Yes. Caller ID is a free feature that comes with all of our service plans.
 
May I choose the area code for the areas other the one I'm living in?
Yes. You may choose any area code in Canada based on your preference or your needs. For example, if you have friends, family or even customers living far away, you can get a number with their area code, and they can call you for the price of a local call.
 
What is In-network Calling feature? Do I have to pay if I make or receive in-network calls?
Calls among iTalkBB customers are considered in-network calls. If your friends or relatives are also iTalkBB Home Phone users, you can call them for free by their 899 number (What is 899 number?)
